S.G. Gobel lives in Wisconsin with her family, where life is always filled with giggles, imagination, and a bit of mischief. Inspired by her two little girls and their everyday adventures, S.G. loves turning silly moments into fun stories with heart. Her debut book, about a lovable highland cow with wild hair, celebrates being yourself and embracing what makes you unique—messy hair and all!

Storytelling has always been a part of S.G.’s life, and now, as a mother, she enjoys bringing stories to life for her daughters, whether through bedtime tales or the pages of a book. She believes the best stories encourage imagination, laughter, and a reminder that being different is something to celebrate.

When she’s not writing, S.G. enjoys spending time with her family, exploring new places, and finding inspiration in everyday moments. She also works in the aviation industry, where she meets people from all over the world and hears their incredible stories—many of which spark new ideas for her children’s books.
